Barrel Vault

The brief for the competition was to redesign or add a space on the AA campus, and the room I chose was the barrel vault. This rectangular room benefits from the best lighting in the campus due to its perched location and perimeter windows, so it is often used for exhbitions, classes and presentations. Being so iconic, I chose to give it a recognizably modernized design, and one that is better suited for the programs that occur within.
